When I was seventeen I won the Metropolitan Search for Talent in Los Angeles. I cannot put my voice in my blog, I sang with Symphony Orch. all over U.S.A Don Watt and I raised seven children. I read an add in my Darien, IL paper announcing an art demonstration at a local craft shop. I went, I watched, was fascinated, and came home with my arms full of supplies. It looked so easy but was so hard! My first attempts were a disaster! I finally got the hang of it and now have over one hundred paintings in my portfolio. I have even won ribbons!
I have always loved to write just about anything. Poetry is my favorite. I even keep a pad and pen at bedside and jot down any thoughts as they come to me during the night. I have used paper, napkins, just about anything handy if I am not at home to create my poetry. If I do not "carpe deum" at that moment then the essence of thought is gone.We live in Leesburg, Fl enjoying a fabulous retirement.Have 14 Grands & 15 Greats
